The Arranging Process
I will put together your arrangment working from your brief, as well as add any intros, countermelodies, etc. required to flesh out the full piece of music. My arrangments follow standard music engraving conventions to ensure clean, legible scores with appropriate markings & page turns for each individual part.
Your arrangements will be sent in PDF format, and you will be able to preview a sample of the completed work before you pay. A preview will consist of audio playback files from the score, and/or screenshots of the score. One complimentary revision of the score is always included in the price of arranging.
Arranging Requirements
In order to write an arrangement, I will need:
- A PDF of the score, or an audio file, YouTube link, etc. of the song/track/piece. (Transcription services will cost extra.)
- The skill level of the players that will perform the arrangment (if necessary)
- Your desired instrumentation and style
In order to perform a revision, I ask that you provide one or both of the following:
- A markup of the delivered score
- An edit list with references to bar numbers and parts
Billing
- A deposit of 50% is required for each work
- Upon completion, I will provide an invoice and the preview
- Once the balance is paid, the full score and parts will be sent over
